WELCOME TO OPERA SOUTH

Opera South, incorporating Opera Omnibus (founded in 1984), presents opera in English,
in Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex. It provides a springboard for emerging professional
singers, directors, musicians, and designers at the beginning of their careers.

Each year Opera South presents a fully staged and costumed opera with orchestra and chorus,
as well as organising concerts with young professional soloists, talks and presentations.
The events take place in a variety of attractive venues in the area.

Venue: Rumbolds Farm Barn Rumbolds Lane, Plaistow, West Sussex RH14 OPZ.

International tenor, Ryland Davies, and students from the Royal Academy of Music demonstrate how opera scenes are developed on stage, followed by a concert of ensembles and arias from well-known operas.
